_____________ the days are growing longer, spring has now come to an end... Sneaking into a newly planted cornfield a two hour adventure in photography must come to a good end. The beauty of standing out in the middle of nowhere is good in itself...it's a photographers job to capture it. - - - This shot started with some infared shots...right before sunset. The sun starting going down and I noticed this field about 1/2 a mile off the road. My trek began...once over a couple fences...the beauty really happened. Taken with: Nikon D70 on tripod Cokin 67mm ND filter @ 18mm f/5 at around 1/100 ISO 200. Post Process: RAW shots were bracketed and overlayed in Photoshop CS. Sky was edited in one shot that was bracketed and ground in another bracket. Curves in PS and then some burning and dodging. - - - enjoy this one...I think it is truly beautiful. I love the sun the way it hit the field and the rows of fresh baby corn. quality and light are everything... but the inspirations are the reasons why all else succeeds. |
