- euphoric abundance -
Where do you go to escape societies norms? Amidst the daily life, is there someplace you dream about? Where can you escape? Disappear? Spend an eternity and never come back? This is euphoria. In all it's abundance. Escape. Take a risk. Get away from it all. eu·pho·ri·a: A feeling of great happiness or well-being. a·bun·dance: Fullness to overflowing: “My thoughts... are from the abundance of my heart” (Thomas De Quincey). [Must FULL-VIEW] :: 'Went on a very long hike, to get away from it all. It was amazing. So silent out in the forest, miles away from anything. Cell phones didn't work, and no cars or people could be heard. It was truly paradise finding this amazing waterfall in the middle of such a dense forest. The Columbia River Gorge is one of the worlds largest areas of lava tubes, and has the highest concentration of waterfalls than anywhere else in the world. I brought my tripod with me just so I could capture such beauty, but I never knew it would be this spectacular. The sun was going down quickly when I took this shot and it really added to the tonal range for the picture. I had been thinking a lot about my sociology class lately and being out in the woods really brought about a lot of feelings about how I needed to get away from everything more often.' I think this scene shows the lush abundance of the forest. It shows how euphoric all the water and fana is. Really, a place where we all could go and stay. A place to run and hide, when everything else isn't what it should be. Isn't life just one full of times where we wish we could just escape? I bring this to you, now's your chance... Yah, it was wonderful carrying all that up there...what a workout!
It's an awesome camera, and I plan on buying the new one, sometime in the future...
Mine is a 5, and the new one is an 8 megapixel!
