'Just a thought. Pills as an addiction. Color as an addiction in a random world of chaos and distruction. Everyone is addicted to something. Caffine, sleep, sex, pornography, controlled substances, even art.'

This series, I think, has a story.
Please, if you like this series, follow it along...I won't let you down.

Part Four: Dead. The addiction has killed you, it's infected every part of your life and has mangled everything you ever had. What you "needed" everyday, has now killed you. You will no longer be able to say "I'll quit eventually", or "I'll cut back sometime". Everything bleeds to black as your addiction consumes your body. Memories of what you used to have flash though what used to be your head. This is the final stage. No return. No timeouts. No forgiveness. Game over.

(This is the darkest image and that I have ever created. It's designed to make you think. If you like this though, this image, this idea, or know someone that needs to change...I suggest showing them this. Thanks for looking, I really hope you liked this final image in the series...it was all meant to come down to this one, the best image in the series, I think.)

I saw the other pieces of this series and they too are great, but this is my favorite of them. The image matches well with your description, though the piece is rather self-explanatory. The dark water/bubbles surrounding the fallen pill bottle is a nice touch; I this I will fave this. Good job on all the pieces in this series. :)

That black water effect was fantastic, as people have said. I think this series has the possibility, if shown, to indeed change a lot of people. Everything in this image seems to balance how dark the subject is. Brilliant piece of work... This gold star makes your Favs-to-Comments ratio 5:5. :+fav:
