How do you visually describe a living thing surviving the harsh enviroment around itself?
What is it that gives humans their life, and their motivations?
What causes us to defy the odds of survial, and live?
This is what it looks like.
Vi-tal-i-ty - n. - The capacity to live, grow, or develop: plants that lost their vitality when badly pruned.

This was a thought that ran though my mind when thinking of living, and surviving. This was as close as I could get to what I saw in my mind. A plant trying to survive in a harsh enviroment, an ugly wasteland all around the plant, rotting, dying, trying to bring the beautiful plant down. But out of the ugliness, the plant survives and has the capacity to live.
Feel the need to live. Go out and run in the rain, climb a mountain, seek an adrenaline rush, dance, laugh, cry, FEEL ALIVE, we are all survivors.
You have the energy, the power, the FORCE to survive.
Enjoy.

Have a good 2004 with love!
That's fantastic-- the steel, the ordinary fire below, and the liquid fire flowing from the side. The drain almost looks like it's melting. Beautiful piece. Gold star.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
